The Hubbell USB15AC5GYWR is a 15 Amp gray decora outlet with two USB charging ports. One of the ports is type C, while the other is type A. The outlet features the highest output USB charging of any outlet on the market, it offers 5 Amps of shared charging. The ports are smart charging and will automatically recognize the device being plugged in, and send the maximum amount of power that the device can safely handle.
This outlet is the only weather resistant (WR) outlet on the market with USB charging ports. Now you can install USB charging outlets safely outdoors, or anywhere water is present indoors. Use them on backyard patios, restaurants, stadiums, kitchen backsplashes, or anywhere you need USB charging in a wet location. The outlet meets NEC code 406.9 for compliance. The receptacle also has tamper resistant (TR) plugs, so no harmful objects can get inside the outlet.
The outlet is a commercial spec grade receptacle, it installs in a standard wall size box. This makes installation in existing wall boxes easy. The outlet also has the three connections on the side for convenience. The terminals are stainless steel and brass to hold up to corrosion from being outdoors.
